The Square Kilometre Array (SKA)

The Square Kilometre Array (SKA) is a multi-purpose radio telescope, covering the frequency range from 50 MHz to 20 GHz that will play a major role in answering key questions in modern astrophysics and cosmologists.  It will be one of a small number of cornerstone observatories across the electromagnetic spectrum that will provide astrophysicists and cosmologists with a transformational view of the Universe.

Testimonial

“Sound Interiors completed the ceiling and partition package on the SKA HQ project for us at Jodrell Bank, which involved working to an extremely high acoustic specification and the installation of a number of bespoke feature ceilings.

Sound Interiors came highly recommended and were excellent in their approach right through the process, from tender stage, through pre construction and construction right through to the timely completion of their works.  They were very much collaborative when it came to solving technical issues we encountered on site, and were generally one step ahead when it came to discussing said issues with suppliers and manufacturers.

From day one the primary focus was on quality and this was reflected in both the management staff and operatives deployed on the project, whom were of a consistently high standard throughout”.
